I always have a great time at the Art of Fabric. They recently moved to this new bigger and brighter location with lots of free parking just off the 401 for easy access from the east or west. They have an unparalleled selection of high quality fabrics with a phenomenal array of batiks. I also love that they carry Bernina sewing and embroidery machine - in my view the best of the best, as well as Husqvarna-Viking and Baby Lock, and have several models on display so you can try them out and get a feel for them before buying. They always have a full calendar of classes that include sewing, embroidery, quilting, fabric dying, knitting, textile arts and many more.
